I am not sure if I would stay at the Embassy Suites again, but I would go there for the Stacks.Chuck Vander Stelt working at his bakery, Chuck’s Bakery, Valparaiso, Indiana circa 1985 The staff was friendly and I would eat here again if I ever found myself in Baltimore. Overall, their food would be in line with a pub style theme, despite their name of bar and grill, at lease from the food I had. The to-go containers were sturdy so I wasn't concerned with the quality of the food. I like a bit of heat in my buffalo sauce and this one had the perfect balance of heat where you can still enjoy it while continuing to eat them. The wings were very good and cooked well too. The fries still had a slight crisp to them despite being steamed a bit as I returned back to my room. Dripping juices to some is bad, to a foodie, that means flavor in every ounce. It was still juicy, cooked to my liking and the sauteed onions on top with the lettuce and tomato made for a nice juice dripping burger. The time it took me to have my drink my food was ready and all boxed up. They do not have room service, but you can walk into the Stacks Bar and Grill and take it back to your room.
I was only in Baltimore for one night so getting the sites, the ball game and the hotel's restaurant in was certainly a challenge. Am thankful they were still open after I came back from the ball game.
